MP Visit: April 2024

In April 2024, Greg Stafford MP met with the Last Wednesday group for the second time. He joined more than 20 parents and carers to discuss urgent concerns around delays in EHCPs, school placements, and children’s mental health services.

Parents shared their experiences of inadequate support, inconsistent communication from professionals, and the ongoing challenges in securing appropriate education and health care for children and young people with SEND.

We are grateful to Mr Stafford for taking the time to listen and for his ongoing commitment to raising these issues both locally and nationally.
